About Us Efuwa Ajumako Traditional Council

Efua Ajumako Traditional Council is made up of Chiefs and Elders from each town in the Traditional Area. The Council is headed by the Omanhen of the Traditional Area, Okokodurfo Ogyeabo Kwamena Hammah Ababio as its President. The Council comprises of Eighteen (18) Divisional Chiefs, Fifty-two (52) Adikrofo, Twenty-two (22) sub Chiefs and Thirteen Queen Mothers. The Ajumako Traditional Council is noted for its respect and regards for customs and traditions. We encourage respect for elders and authority, promote regards to customs and traditions, maintenance of cultural practices while abhorring stealing, fighting, cursing (taboo) and other social vices. The Ajumako Traditional Area is notable for its vast lands with fertile soil that supports every crop. It has a large population making labour always available. Its lands are litigation free providing a serene environment for businesses to thrive.
